Beth, however, wants love and passion for herself, and to break free from the artificial life she is growing to hate. She finds herself plunged into a world where nothing is as it seems and everyone hides behind a mask. Can she trust the people professing to care for her?

  1. Fantastic well deserved award. I don't normally read books in that era but this had me gripped from the first chapter, I literally couldn't put it down. Extremely well written, I felt as though I knew the characters. Lots of twists and turns. Plenty to keep you reading. Best of all the following 3 book's are just as good. I have highly recommended it to a number of friendstudents who have also enjoyed them

  2. I love this book. Great characters, they are strong, yet the plot manages to surprise along the way. Would recommend it to any who love this genre and history.
